Trade Florida palm trees for peppermint-flavored pixie dust when Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom® Park on Friday, November 8, 2024. This after-hours, separately-ticketed celebration turns Walt Disney World® Resort into the merriest place on earth with a 35-foot-tall Christmas tree, “snow” drifting down Main Street U.S.A., and more yuletide magic than Santa’s sleigh can hold.

Partygoers enjoy exclusive access to classic attractions re-imagined for the holidays—glide through a wintery Jungle Cruise in Jingle Cruise mode, rocket around a star-spangled Space Mountain, and hitch a haunted ride on The Nightmare Before Christmas-themed Haunted Mansion Holiday. Elves hand out complimentary cookies, snickerdoodle sundaes, hot cocoa and apple cider at treat stops throughout the park, while specialty kiosks dish up sugar-dusted beignets, egg-nog soft-serve and a loaded turkey leg wrapped in a holiday waffle.

Entertainment line-up is pure Claus-talgia: see Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks blast above Cinderella Castle, watch Elsa transform the spires into shimmering ice, then stake out a curb on the parade route for Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade featuring dancing toy soldiers, a real-life reindeer convoy and an appearance by Santa Claus himself. Inside the Castle stage, Mickey, Minnie and friends present “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” a song-and-dance revue stuffed with holiday hits and snow-flurrying special effects.

Character meet-and-greets are upgraded with rare holly-jolly costumes—say “ho-ho-hello” to Santa Goofy, Scrooge McDuck, Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws and all the Disney Princesses in festive gowns. Limited-edition merchandise includes spirit jerseys, commemorative MagicBands, and collectible pins only sold during party nights, so budget sleigh room in your suitcase.

Because crowd levels are capped, wait times drop and photos stay crowd-free, making it the best night of the year to snag that perfect castle shot. The party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight with early entry for ticket holders at 4 p.m. Parking is included, and buses, monorails and watercraft operate well past closing to shuttle tired elves back to every Disney Resort hotel.
